While amnesia is a simple and elegant way to place the player in the main character’s shoes, Agent P-3 reminded us of a character from a gruff 80’s B action movie, which comes off as very two-dimensional. In fact, the journey from beginning to end would have been a lot more palatable if it weren’t for the main character. Amid the chaos, you play Sergey Nechaev, or Agent P-3, an amnestic intelligence officer who gets involved in a conspiracy against his superior, Petrov, who is also the inventor of the very robots that you will encounter.Īgent P-3 serves as the perfect canvas for the player to paint on, as the mystery begins to unravel throughout the game. Things go awry when their subservient robots go rogue and massacre the population.
